Also the device notifier plasma applet now bork the system tray and needs some treatment &#8230; there will be a busy week to fix this.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the solution to bring back gtk theme under KDE4 manualy, I&#8217;ll try to recreate kde4-config later :<\/p>\n<p>Install this three packages to restore the gtk themes link and release the oxygen-molecule one :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gtk-kde4<\/li>\n<li>kde4-style-qtcurve<\/li>\n<li>qtcurve-gtk2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and synaptic will remove the gtk-oxygen-molecule in process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After reboot, now it&#8217;s time to set up the gtk style. Go to system settings, and now the Appearance under Look&amp; Feel will have new category GTK Style. Chose the QTCurve style which I prefer to be the most stable and the rest of it just the icons and font settings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/gtk-curve.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[1096]\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1102\" title=\"gtk-curve\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/gtk-curve-300x177.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After pressing Apply, all GTK applications must be in good shape.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Been compiling kde 4.5.0 and all kde4-config for klixs were broken, especially smoothtask and gtk themes.
