It\u2019s NOT perfect, but it\u2019s usable. Honestly, at first, i thought, i will not release this until all bugs is solved, but some friends keep pushing me to release for public. Finally after rethink, i decided to release this with pre-caution for known issues. Maybe, like Linuz said, <em>given enough eyeballs, all bugs are shallow<\/em> \u2026 hehehe. Feel free to download, learn it, analyze it, improve it and re-share it again somewhere and anywhere, it\u2019s all yours. At last, try for yourself, and lets begin.<\/p>\n<h3>Features :<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Android 4.2.2 with 3.4.0 kernel<\/li>\n<li>Rooted, busybox, fully deodexed, zipaligned<\/li>\n<li>rooted boot.img<\/li>\n<li>init.d support + busybox run parts<\/li>\n<li>gps, bt, hsdpa tweak<\/li>\n<li>Superuser by Clockworkmod (thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/103583939320326217147\">Koush<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>entropy generator tweak (thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/member.php?u=1107425\">lambgx02<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Xposed framework (thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/member.php?u=4419114\" target=\"_blank\">rovo89 <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/member.php?u=4322181\" target=\"_blank\">Tungstwenty<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>GravityBox customization module (thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/member.php?s=a7f6656ab8197638da79501a22222606&amp;u=5008415\">C3C076<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>MT6577 cpu governor switcher (thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showpost.php?p=35181780&amp;postcount=1\" target=\"_blank\">michfood<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>\u2026 something i forgot to list<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since this is a porting rom, not build from source, not all peripheral working, and you must know before continue :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The PICOpad GFI had many variants on the peripheral devices, such as camera type, lcd type and wifi module, and this is only create frustrating for some custom rom developer, including me. \ud83d\ude41 some rom will works on one device and not on others because the module isn&#8217;t same. Basically, this can be categorized in two group : device with mt6620 wifi chipset module and devices with mt6628 wifi module.<\/p>\n<h4>Known issues for device with mt6620 chipset :<\/h4>\n<p><strong>FMRadio<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The fmradio can be run without problem, but the sound is not come out from speaker or earphone.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That is the only problem i cannot solved on this mt6620 device.<\/p>\n<h4>Known issues for device with mt6628 chipset :<\/h4>\n<p><em>Thanks for <a href=\"http:\/\/disqus.com\/samuelkristiyanto\" target=\"_blank\">Sammy<\/a> who tested this for us. \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>1. Camera <\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The camera is working but there is some issues. For back camera the saturation is a little bit too high and the hue color smears to magenta, thus it\u2019s looks pinkish if the object was black, it\u2019s ugly, yes, i know <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_smile.gif\" alt=\":-)\" \/> Front cam is better, the picture is OK, no problem whatsoever. Here is the fix for that variant :<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Download : <a title=\"signed_gfi-mt6620-gpsvariant-fix_151013_123802.zip\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/download\/d6g6zrlj4h3d53z\/signed_gfi-mt6620-gpsvariant-fix_151013_123802.zip\" target=\"_blank\">signed_gfi-mt6620-gpsvariant-fix_151013_123802.zip<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><em>So, if you&#8217;re flashing the mt6620 version but the gps is not working, this zip wil fix them. install the zip using recovery and your gps will works.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And here is the steps to flash this custom rom :<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Requirement and Preparation :<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Read this thoroughly :<br \/>\n<em><strong>Your warranty is now void<\/strong> !!!<\/em><br \/>\nI am not responsible if you brick your phone, get stuck in a bootloop, or if your phone grows arms and tries to kill you. Flash at your own risk!<br \/>\n<em> Please do some research if you have any concerns about risk of flashing a custom rom before continuing! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you!!<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you have any other objection, don\u2019t bother to comment, just close this page!<\/em><\/li>\n<li>This custom rom need a custom recovery to flashed into the device, if you haven\u2019t got it, get it here : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/?p=2802\" target=\"_blank\">cwm and twrp recovery for PICOpad GFI<\/a>. Both are working good for this device, get it whichever you like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><strong>Flashing Process :<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The steps to flash this custom rom is pretty straight forward :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the custom rom from link above and copy it to the root of your sdcard, you may check it first with your file manager to confirm it was there. There are two sdcard storage on this device, so you must know it\u2019s at the internal sdcard or external sdcard. I prefer you to put this on external sdcard to avoid any difficulties.<\/li>\n<li>Boot into recovery mode by turning off your phone, hold down Volume + button then press power button, hold them both until you see axioo logo on screen then release it. This is caused by the new Google+ adds new shared library to google maps and change the permission feature. \ud83d\ude42 sorry for the inconvenience \ud83d\ude42<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Here is the fix :<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Download : <a title=\"signed_googleplus-fix_231113_210124.zip\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/download\/ms0miw7271a1tct\/signed_googleplus-fix_231113_210124.zip\" target=\"_blank\">signed_googleplus-fix_231113_210124.zip<\/a><\/em><br \/>\n<em> 1. download the zip file and copy into your sdcard<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 2. reboot into recovery<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 3. choose install zip and navigate to folder where you put the zip file on step 1<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 4. choose the zip file and execute it<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 5. reboot your device<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>How to use the Xposed Framework and Gravity box<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This awesome framework was gain many reputation on many android forums lately, made by <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/member.php?u=4419114\" target=\"_blank\">rovo89<\/a> a recognized developer on xda, you may visit the the <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=1574401\" target=\"_blank\">thread here<\/a> to read the complete explanation what and how this framework work. Basically, this framework will open the android framework capability to accept external parameter, resources, method, intent and even modifying or replacing the return value. With this advantage, the android framework now can be intercepted and accept many customize value without have to recompile again. He also create a modularize system for developers to create customization module, including <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=2316070\" target=\"_blank\">GravityBox module<\/a>. With this Xposed framework, the customization possibilities is limitless. this is an awesome work. You may check the supported modules <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=2327541\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this custom rom, i\u2019m not integrating the Xposed framework into the system for some several reason, but I already included the installer on the data area, and all you have to do is to install them on your own before you can use it, and here is the steps :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Run the Xposed Framework and click Install<\/li>\n<li>Reboot<\/li>\n<li>Run the Xposed Framework again and choose Module<\/li>\n<li>Enable the GravityBox module<\/li>\n<li>Reboot<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After reboot, run the GravityBox and you will have many many customization to personalize your device.
