Flash at your own risk!<br \/>\n<em> Please do some research if you have any concerns about risk of flashing a custom rom before continuing! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you!!<\/em><br \/>\n<em> If you have any other objection, don\u2019t bother to comment, just close this page!<\/em><\/li>\n<li>This custom rom need a custom recovery to flashed into the device, if you haven\u2019t got it, get it here : <a title=\"twrp and cwm recovery PICOpad GDK-GDS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/?p=3091\" target=\"_blank\">cwm and twrp recovery for PICOpad GDS<\/a>. Both are working good for this device, get it whichever you like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><strong>Flashing Process :<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The steps to flash this custom rom is pretty straight forward :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the custom rom from link above and copy it to the root of your sdcard, you may check it first with your file manager to confirm it was there. There are two sdcard storage on this device, so you must know it\u2019s at the internal sdcard or external sdcard. I prefer you to put this on external sdcard to avoid any difficulties.<\/li>\n<li>Boot into recovery mode by turning off your phone, hold down Volume + button then press power button, hold them both until you see axioo logo on screen then release it. Wait a sec or two \u2026 then you\u2019ll be in recovery mode.<\/li>\n<li>BACKUP your stock rom and data using BACKUP feature, make sure you use external storage as destination because this backup is relatively big.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong><em>Wipe Data \/ Factory reset<\/em><\/strong> and execute it.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong><em>Wipe cache partition<\/em><\/strong> and execute it<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong><em>Wipe Dalvik Cache<\/em><\/strong> and execute it<\/li>\n<li>Go back to main menu, and choose <strong><em>Install<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It will open a list of file on your sdcard, choose the custom rom zip file that you put on step 1 and flash it.<\/li>\n<li>After the installation completed, choose <em><strong>Reboot System<\/strong><br :<\/h4>\n<h3>Photosphere<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I believe many of you already knows this photosphere feature which introduced by google since nov 2012 with their API-17 4.2 series, but for you who don&#8217;t know what the hell photosphere is, picture says a thousand words, see this <a title=\"Photosphere sample\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/?p=2907\" target=\"_blank\">sample photophere<\/a>.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not including this photosphere camera apps in the custom rom for several reason, first, because the stock camera apps is already pretty good and had a nice and many features such as FX filter and etc. Secondly, i don&#8217;t like double camera and gallery apps on the custom rom since it will confuse many users when opening pictures or videos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/photosphere-gds.png\" rel=\"lightbox[3464]\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3476 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/photosphere-gds-169x300.png\" alt=\"photosphere-gds\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/?attachment_id=3477\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3477\" update zip file for you who wants to try or likes this feature.<br \/>\nHere we go the update zip :<\/p>\n<p>Download : <a title=\"signed_camera-4.2-update.zip\" you just did with the custom rom, go to recovery mode, select install, choose the zip file and reboot after done. After install this update.zip, you&#8217;ll have 2 camera apps and 2 gallery apps, you can only take photosphere picture with the new camera apps\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/?attachment_id=3494\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3494\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ic_launcher_camera.png\" alt=\"ic_launcher_camera\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a> and play the photosphere picture with the new gallery apps, i repeat once more, the previous camera apps\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/?attachment_id=3496\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3496\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jfdesignnet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ic_launcher_camera1.png\" alt=\"ic_launcher_camera\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/><\/a> is not capable to take photosphere picture and the previous gallery apps will not recognize any photosphere picture.<br \/>\nIf this is your first try using photosphere, please spend some time to read this <a title=\"Photosphere Tutorial\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/nexus\/answer\/2839084?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">Nexus tutorial<\/a> how to create a great photosphere shot. if still not sure, see <a title=\"How to create a photo sphere \" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NPs3eIiWRaw&amp;feature=youtube_gdata_player\" target=\"_blank\">this video<\/a> too.
